I could shoot this kind of stuff ALL DAY LONG!  Its what I day dream about all the time, I come up with magical sessions in my head, and from time to time.. I get to make them come to life.  Take a look at the Tea Party from last year.

I was going for something a little darker this year.  I had seen a dance group do a zombie routine and fell in love, I asked my daughter and some of her dance friends what they thought.. and thankfully for me, NO OBJECTION!  they went all out.  These very beautiful and talented teenagers went all out ZOMBIE for me!

I love this session!  This is one of the shoots where as a photographer you feel like your images are speaking.. screaming almost!

I've known Miss Camryn for a few years now and have grown to love her like family!  Not only is she an amazing dancer, she is beautiful to the core!  I know she will go far in life and I'm excited to be able to sit back and watch.

Every year Camryn's mom does a collage of her dance number outfits, she asked me to find a specific location and Camryn did the rest.

The first shots we took in downtown Oklahoma City, in front of Leadership Square, the huge red sculpture may the perfect back drop!

 

This child can jump!!!

What does a 13 year old want for her birthday?

A photo sessions with all her best girlfriends!

I cannot take any creative credit for this shoot, this beautiful young lady... Casey has a well rounded group of friends and wanted to show of the talents of each of them in this session!

...and this was just the beginning of the shoot!

Post #2 Summer Session.

12 girls.

9 of them 7th grade cheerleaders and 3 little sisters. 

An abandoned field covered in cactus and stickers.

101 degree weather. 

45 minutes of day light left in the day (and I needed 2 hours).

2 amazing moms toting cactus and sticker hating little sisters on their backs along with moving and preparing props!

AND, I could just cry, these young ladies and their moms were AMAZING! Their outfits were perfection, their hair was to-die-for, and their spirits and attitudes showed nothing of the smoldering heat and sticker covered bodies... all to satisfy their photog friend who's had this idea floating around in her head for several weeks.

I'm about half way through editing, but had to post more pics after all the sweet messages and texts I've been getting from these ladies today!
