I love this session!  This is one of the shoots where as a photographer you feel like your images are speaking.. screaming almost!

I've known Miss Camryn for a few years now and have grown to love her like family!  Not only is she an amazing dancer, she is beautiful to the core!  I know she will go far in life and I'm excited to be able to sit back and watch.

Every year Camryn's mom does a collage of her dance number outfits, she asked me to find a specific location and Camryn did the rest.

The first shots we took in downtown Oklahoma City, in front of Leadership Square, the huge red sculpture may the perfect back drop!

There is nothing more enjoyable than working with this creative, beautiful duo that is Soul de Soul! Soul de Soul is an Oklahoma City based traveling dance workshop, co founded by Hilary McAlister and Mackenzie Martin-Crosley as a way of sharing their passion for dance with other young artists.

Published!  in Pure Magazine's OKC Premier Issue!

I'M SOO  proud of the Tearstained Dance Co!  They are preforming at the Pure Magazine Launch Party this week! These ladies are incredible!

 

We shot these photos early last fall, and it was one heck of an adventure, wading through 6 inches of water, pouring rain, bleeding feet, make-shift lighting, no air, and ladder climbing from HELL!  These ladies can look good in any situation.

I'm finished!!

I finished shooting for 2010!! (with the exception of a few family members - but that doesn't count!)

 So for the rest of the year, I am going to concentrate on these angels!

I'm excited to be lazy with them, snuggle on the couch watching our favorite Christmas movies, reading books, playing games... I'm giddy just typing about it!

We just had our annual Christmas dance recital with Studio J dance, and both girls danced beautifully!  We are so blessed to be a part of this group in Edmond!

I'll hopefully share more of these recent sessions I just fell in love with over the fall, but for now... The Photojunky is closed for 2010!  WOOO WHOOO!

The one where I want to be a dancer...

Finally finished up editing the Tearstained Dance Co.  These women are amazingly talented and crazy beautiful. 

I don't dance - at least not in public for all eyes to see, these ladies made me wish I had the gift of dance.  They are each extremely graceful and poised!  For now, I'll stick to my Canon and Photoshop!
