THANKFUL!!

Today and every day, I am thankful for this force that I call, my youngest child!

I'm thankful for her will that drives me up the wall and pushes me to the limits, but lets me know that she will never go down without a fight. I'm thankful for the most amazing hugs on the planet, the way we always seem to be holding hands, all the times she says "I love you mommy" just out of the blue, and most of all, I'm thankful for her excitement of life.

It was pure joy meeting this family!  They drove all the way from Marlow, OK for their family session... a place I've only visited once, but know its quiet a jaunt!  Beautiful Gabby and I instantly became friends, she did amazing for a 3 year old and all it took was the promise of some time in the playground that was teasing her from over the little hill!

There is nothing more enjoyable than working with this creative, beautiful duo that is Soul de Soul! Soul de Soul is an Oklahoma City based traveling dance workshop, co founded by Hilary McAlister and Mackenzie Martin-Crosley as a way of sharing their passion for dance with other young artists.

So incredibly thankful to call this beautiful young lady my child! 

This is such a stressful/busy time of year for me, If I'm home, I'm camped out at my computer trying to meet my own self inflicted deadlines.. and this angel, more often than not, willing jumps in to help with dinner picking up and even homework with her little sister.

She blesses me!

THANKFUL!!

Today I am thankful for this amazing man, and his ability to always plan the perfect get-a-way.. I'll never doubt him again!

I'll admit - when hubby first said, let's go for a few days to Beavers Bend, Oklahoma and stay in a cabin.. my thoughts were not very kind "what? me? in the middle of NO WHERE??? No shopping, no big city, no pool bar, no beach, no vineyards or fancy shows!  Just mountains and foliage?"  I kept my thoughts to myself because I honestly felt like it was time to do something for him and leave my selfishness behind.

It was amazing.  This part of Oklahoma is beyond beautiful.  Our cabin was gorgeous! This quiet get-away was exactly what we both needed... we're already planning our next trip!

So thankful and blessed!

Mad Hatter Tea Party Photo Session! The PhotoJunky!

Alice, The White Rabbit, The Red Queen (maybe 2) and a couple of Mad Hatters made for an awesome tea party photo session!!

I remember sitting in the theater watching Johnny Depp in Alice in Wonderland a couple years ago.. I was in awe of the colors and the creativity and drooling over the costumes.. I begged my oldest to be Alice that year for Halloween, but I wanted her to be Alice as the Red Queen had dressed her... she said "NO WAY" (and dressed as a hobo?).  Some how with in the next 12 months and down to the last minute..  I convinced her to go as the Mad Hatter and little sister the Red Queen.  Thankfully, we had some friends wanting to join in on my crazy idea for a fun shoot!

I love these so much!
